Our Rooms

Baby Room (6mths-18mths)

Our Baby Room is a bright, inviting room where we encourage the babies to explore and develop with a sensory approach. With a maximum of 6 babies each day the room is a calm oasis with a wide range of natural resources. Babies are given the opportunity to be creative and enjoy painting, sticking and sand and water play. Individual care routines are followed and babies are nurtured with lots of time to engage with their key person. We have a large nursery garden as well as being able to take regular walks to the nature reserve, visit the ducks and simply enjoy our surroundings.

We pride ourselves on building strong relationships with our families. We will always keep you fully informed of your baby’s progress through a daily diary and via regular parent meetings where you can spend time chatting to your child’s key person.

Chipmunks (18mths-2yrs)

Our toddlers are developing their knowledge through stimulating activities and equipment. This is the age where friendships are beginning to form and creativity and fun are our priority. Your child’s keyperson will help them develop their social and physical skills by encouraging independence and freedom of choice.

Badgers (2yrs-3yrs)

As the children’s curiosity and concentration continues to grow they are given the opportunity to flourish in our Badgers room. The emphasis continues to be on the individual child with activities planned around their interests. The children are busy learning self-care and support and advice is given when parents are ready to start toilet training their child.

Foxes (3+ years)

Foxes children will enjoy activities planned using the seven areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Children are developing their critical thinking and activities are appropriate to their developmental stage and needs. The children’s keyperson will encourage a love of learning and caring for each other and the world around them. We aim to develop all areas of learning and prepare the children for their move to ‘big school’.
