Welcome to Acorns Day Nursery!

Our nursery is located in Sevenoaks, Kent. We provide a stimulating place for your child to learn and grow. We provide year-round nursery support for families and their children that offers a safe and happy environment. Acorns Day Nursery offers flexible full-time and part-time nursery places for children aged 3 months to 5 years. We have dedicated rooms for each age group giving each child a specialised nursery experience.

Open Monday to Friday

We provide nursery and preschool care Monday to Friday. Acorns Day Nursery is closed on bank holidays and in-between Christmas and New Year.

Each child at Acorns Day Nursery is given the best care from our greatly qualified and experienced team. Every member of our team is trained to give your child the highest levels of care and education. They hold Paediatric First Aid qualifications and some members of our team also hold other relevant qualifications, including degree level qualifications. As a team, through our deep knowledge and child care experience we ensure every child at our nursery is given continuous support and encouragement.

Unrivalled Nursery in Sevenoaks

Sitting in a large, enclosed garden our nursery is located in the grounds of Sevenoaks Primary School. At Acorns Day Nursery the children have the space and freedom to enjoy our range of equipment, which includes climbing frames, swings, climbing ropes and balance beams. The children can find enjoyment in our garden and run, slide and climb to their heart's content. The children can enjoy every season in our garden as is situated under the canopy of mature trees - providing shade in the summer and fun in the autumn with the leaves.

Our Nursery Rooms

Inside the nursery the rooms are divided by the Baby Room for 6 months - 18 months, the Chipmunks Room for 18 months - 2 years, the Badgers Room for 2 years - 3 years and the Foxes Room for 3 years plus. Careful consideration has been taken to design each room to tailor the playing equipment to fit each child's stage of development. Providing the an encouraging environment for your child to develop and be supported. Each room enjoys time in our garden and the older children are given ‘free flow’ access during their nursery day.

Fees and Funding at Acorns Day Nursery

The Early Years Foundation Stage

Acorns Day Nursery works to The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The Early Years curriculum sets the standard for all early year providers. We have a range of activities planned for the children to support each child's needs and interests within the EYFS. Ensuring that all children are kept healthy and safe at all times and that they learn and develop in accordance with the Early Years curriculum.
